How Chocolate is Made

Have we wondered how we get chocolate from? Well this time we will enter the amazing world of chocolate so we can understand exactly we are eating.

Chocolate starts a tree called cacao tree. This tree grows in equatorial regions, especially in place such as South America, Africa, and Indonesia. The cacao tree produces a fruit about the size of a small pine apple. In side the fruits are the tree's seeds. They are also known as coco beans.

Next, the beans are fermented for about a week, dried in the sun. After that they are shipped to the chocolate maker. The chocolate maker starts by roasting the beans to bring out the flavour. Different beans from different places have different qualities and flavour. So they are often shorted and blended to produce a distinctive mix.

The next process is winnowing. The roasted beans are winnowed to remove the meat nib of the cacao bean from its shell. Then the nibs are blended. The blended nibs are ground to make it a liquid. The liquid is called chocolate liquor. It tastes bitter.

All seeds contain some amount of fat and cacao beans are not different. However, cacao beans are half fat, which is why the ground nibs from liquid. It is pure bitter chocolate.

The Golden Heart

Once upon a time, there was a big kingdom in Greece that was conquered by a dictator king named King Ptolomeus. He had a princess named Princess Amanda who was very beautiful and kind. Every man who looked at her would be falling in love because her prettiness and her kindness.

One day, there was a handsome knight from Eastern who came to ask for her hand in marriage was good enough for her. His name is Arthur and he was an ordinary knight.. Princess Amanda loved him too because Arthur came to her father’s kingdom bravely and he was very polite to her. Some guards who was taking heed around the palace knew that there was a stranger came to the palace and they told to King Ptolomeus about that event soon. King Ptolomeus was very angry and he held the rendezvous with some prime ministers and some guards. He comanded some guards to catch that knight as soon as possible. They caught Knight Arthur  successfully eventhough by forcing him.

King Ptolomeus was very satisfied knowing that a stranger had been already caught by his guards. And then he commanded his guards to carry Knight Arthur into the big arena. There would be hold the great challenge for Knight Arthur by King Ptolomeus. He had to choose one of two big boxes that had been provided by King Ptolomeus. However, he did not know it before. The first box in left side contained a beautiful lady. If he chose it he had to marry with her. The last one in right side contained a wild lion. If he chose the last one, he had to fight and be a winner; if not he would die. King Ptolomeus and Princess Amanda watched that challenge from reviewing stand. Princess Amanda wished Knight Arthur did not choose a wrong box.

Knight Arthur went into two doors front of two boxes. He had to choose a good boxes carefully because it could determine about his fate. Then, Knight Arthur walked roundaboutly to decide his choice. Finally, he chose a box that he thought the best one; he chose a box in right side which contained a wild lion. When the box was opened by some guards, a wild lion came out of it. Knight Arthur was so panicky and he realized that he had choosen a danger choice. To be or not to be, he had to fighting to finish. He took a sword from his armour and as fast as possible attacked to a lion. Suddenly Knight Arthur stopped his attacked while the fight was happening. He remembered about his lion which had already lost for years because he saw a wound in left eye’s lion. It equals with his pet lion. He hugged a lion and he said in whisper to lion, “Cerebrus”. A lion stopped attacking Arthur after heared that. Actually Cerebrus was Arthur pet’s name in Eastern, but suddenly it lost without no one sub-ordinate’s Eastern knew.

King Ptolomeus was shocked knowing that a kion did not kill Arthur. He took a poison sword and went into arena to kill Knight Arthur. Princess Amanda tried to prohibit her father but it was unsuccessfull. King Ptolomeus was trying to attack Knight Arthur, but it did not success because his hand was bitten by a lion suddenly. Ptolomeus’ right hand was bloody and he gave up. Finally, King Ptolomeus allowed Knight Arthur to marry with Princess Amanda. After that, Knight Arhur admitted that he was a son of King Mides; a king from Eastern that had already been killed by King Ptolomeus in a great war. King Ptolomeus was very frightened to death. However, Knight Arthur did not want to avenge to him because he did not to be a murderer of . Finally, King Arthur and Princess Amanda married and lived happily for good.

Adventure and Love with Playing Carpet

Once upon a time, there lived a man and a women in a big house with their two children. The two children a boy and a girl, were named Bilt and Lhara.

One day, Lhara’s carpet was torn. It had a big hole in it. Lhara showed her Dad but he said, “We can’t afford a new one for you. Sorry, Lhara”.

The next day after that, Bilt and Lhara were shopping with Dad. Dad wanted to buy a bookcase for Bilt’s room. They saw one outside the junk shop.

“I will get dan buy this for Bilt,” said Dad.

But, when they entered junk shop, Lhara found an old carpet in the back side of the shop.

***A few minutes later***

“This would do for my room,” she said. She asked Dad if she could have it. Dad looked at the old carpet.

“You don’t want that thing,” he said. “it’s old and dirty, Lhara”.

“But I like it,” Said Lhara. “Please may I have it, Dad?”. So Dad said, “Yes, as long as it doesn’t costto much.”

Finally, Dad bought a carpet and bookcase for Bilt’s room. They went back to their house by car. They arrived at their house in a few minutes. Lhara directly cleaned up her new carpet. Lhara beatthe carpet. It was full of dust and dirt.

“I didn’t think a carpet could be so dusty,” she said. “I wonder who had it last. Somone who didn’t wipe their feet!”.

Lhara and Mum gave the carpet a shampoo. “I didn’t think it has ever had a shampoo before,” saidLhara. “It looks better than before when I am buy it.”

Three hours later, Lhara finished clean up her carpet. The carpet looked beautifull.

“It has a nice carpet,” said Lhara, “I told you so! It looks quite old, so maybe it’s worth a lot of money.”

Lhara was in her bedroom reading a book. Bilt came in and they sat on Lhara’s new carpet. Bilt was learning to read.

Suddenly, the magic carpet began to fly. Adventure had begun. Lhara and Bilt were on a flying carpet. “This is kind of adventure,” said Lhara. “The carpet is coming with us”.

The carpet went very fast. “Oh, help,” said Bilt. “I hope we don’t fall off.”

The carpet flew on and on. It flew over deserts and mountains.  “yeah, I can open my eyes, a new fantastic point of view,” said Lhara. “I wonder where we are going”, said Bilt.

At last, the carpet slowed down. Lhara and Bilt looked over the side. The carpet was flying over a town. “ I have seen a town like this one,” said Lhara. “ I am afraid, where we are going to land.”

But, the carpet didn’t land. instead it went slower and slower. Then it stopped by a window at the top of a tower. Lhara and Bilt looked through the window. They saw a little boy. He was crying and he looked very sad.

“He must be a prisoner,” said Lhara. Lhara and Bilt climbed into the little room. When the boy saw them, he jumped up in surprise.

“Why are you in here? Are you prisoner?,” asked Bilt. “What have you done? ”.

“I am the real king of this land,” said the boy sadly, “but  my uncle locked me in this tower”.

Flashback (story from the king)

“When I was king everyone was happy. I promised to rule the country wisely and well. But my uncle was jealous. He wanted to be the king of this land. One day my uncle and his soldiers attacked the palace. They captured me and put me in prison. My mother escaped. She ran away to the mountains and took her army with her.

My uncle is a bad man. He is cruel and greedy. He makes the people pay money even if they are poor. If the can’t pay, He puts them in prison. Every day the people ask my mother and her army to attack the city. She will not give the order to attack because she is afraid my uncle wiil kill me. I am a hostage in this palace.”

Then, we must set you free,” said Lhara. “The carpet will take us to your mother.” Lhara and Bilt helped the boy to climb out the window. Then they all sat on the carpet.

“How do we make it fly?” asked Bilt. “Make a wish,” said Lhara. “Then it will go where we want it to.”

They made a wish, and the carpet flew . The carpet sped towards the mountains. At last it began to slow down. The carpet landed safely. When his mother saw him, she couldn’t believe her eyes. She looked at carpet and she looked at Lhara and Bilt.

“My son is safe,” she said, “Thank you.”

The boy’s mother called all her soldiers. She told them her son was free.

“Now he is safe, we can attack the city,” she said. “My son will be the king soon”. “Hooray!” shouted the soldiers.

They came down from the mountains and attacked the city. There was a big battle. Lhara, Bilt and the boy watched the battle from a safe place. When the battle over everyone was pleased that the boy was king again. Lhara and Bilt took the uncle to the boy.

“Thank you,” he said. “it’s my uncle turn to go to prison. Now I can be a good king and look after my people again.”

The unpredicteble thing happen. The king was loved Lhara. At the night, The king and Lhara flew over the city  and they left Bilt in the palace.

“Are you want to married with me?,” asked the king. Lhara was shocked. She wanted to married with the king but they were different. Lhara have a family and must went back to her house. The king was accepted. So, the king gave Lhara and Bilt a present. It was a beutifull toy camel.

“Thank you,” they said. Suddenly, the carpet began to fly. “it’s time for us to go,” said Lhara. The magic carpet sped and took Lhara and Bilt home.

“What an adventure! now, no one to tell us no or where to go or say we’re only dreaming to fly with magic carpet,” said Bilt.
